Hunt’s Recipe Ready tomato paste pouch delivers a convenient alternative to the traditional six ounce tomato paste can. The new format meets changing consumer demographics and lifestyles by providing a convenient, portion-controlled two tablespoon serving of tomato paste. Consumers simply tear, dispense, and toss.
The lightweight alternative to the six ounce can delivers equal performance with less material and less weight. In addition, the smaller, premeasured portion means consumers can avoid food waste due to unused paste.
According to IPN Consulting, flexible materials take half the resources to manufacture and produce than cans. Recent studies show that when compared to rigid containers, pouches improve product-to-package ratio by up to 35:1, and decrease CO2 emissions by up to 93%.
