The Label Manufacturers' Association of India (LMAI) is set to host its fourth conference July 20-23 at the Jaypee Palace Hotel and Convention Center in Agra. The theme of the event is "Innovation Simplified."
The conference is expected to draw at least 450 printers and suppliers from the label industry.
Sandeep Zaveri, LMAI president, comments: "Eighty percent of registrations received to date are that of label printers. We are not solely focusing on numbers this time and ensuring quality printers attend the conference so suppliers get more value out of the event."
There are 27 companies that have confirmed sponsorship of the conference, including APL Machinery, Avery Dennison, BST Eltromat India, E I Dupont India, Esko Graphics, Flexo Image Graphics, Flint Group, Gallus, Hubergroup India, Insight Print Communication, Intergraphic Pulisi, Kurz India, Loparex India, Macdermid, Monotech Systems, Multitec Aids, Numex Blocks, Omet, PGI Technologies, Reifenhauser India, Siegwerk India, SMI Coated Products, System Flexovision, Tesa Tapes, Tion Enterprises, UPM Raflatac and Vinsak.
"Eminent speakers from each company will talk about the evolving Indian market, user accessibility of their technology and end user benefits, affordability and how to easily resource the technology," says Zaveri. "Each sponsor, this time, will also be allowed to make their sales pitch for 25 percent of the time allotted to them."
Other than sponsor presentations, LMAI has brought forward the most popular feature from the previous edition – a roundtable discussion between sponsors and printer delegate members – to the 2017 conference.
Scheduled for the conference are resentations from two motivational speakers, yoga sessions in the morning and entertainment in the evening.
