Printing Industries Alliance has announced that Digital Printing Think Tank III will take place on Wednesday, July 25, 2018 at Club 101, located at 101 Park Avenue, NY, NY, USA, at 40th Street.
Vendor presentation sponsors will be limited, and the Alliance encourages vendor companies who would like to present to send an email to Marty Maloney or call him at 203-912-0804 to confirm their participation. ”This event has become very popular with printers and presenters, and we now have more vendor presenters interested than we can accommodate, so we plan to accept presenters on a ‘first come’ basis,” stats Marty Maloney, executive vice president of the Printing Industries Alliance.
The first Digital Printing Think Tank took place in 2015, with the second coming in 2017. Since then, the event has enjoyed multiple developments as digital printing becomes a larger part of all printing. Printers want an update, and they are requesting a format that allows them to make side-by-side comparisons and find out which press should be their next digital purchase. The Digital Print Think Tank III will cover all areas of digital printing, including toner, inkjet production, wide format and labels and packaging. All applications will be discussed.
Participating presentation sponsors will receive a 20-minute presentation slot, participation on a panel, a reserved table and complimentary admissions for personnel, as well as customers and prospects. The event includes 15 continental breakfasts, lunches, all day coffee and soft drinks and end-of-the day network event cocktails. A small in-room perimeter table will be available to display literature too, allowing for strong and frequent recognition.
Presentation sponsors will pay a single low, inclusive fee of $4,350. Registration of printers will start on May 1 and non-presentation sponsors will also be available.
The event’s first panel will be a group of large and small printers that cut across the digital printing market. A moderator will lead the printers in a discussion that will talk about their path to the present and their path going forward. It is predicted that digital printing, which launched in 1993 and is currently more than 20% of all printing, will become 50% of all printing by 2030. Interactivity from the audience will be encouraged and a Q&A session will follow.
Other panels will be made up of leading marketing executives from digital printing vendors, as well as consultants. They will discuss how they provide press owners guidance in marketing digital printing and assistance in growing the market. A combination of highly-experienced speakers and actual printer experiences will provide converters with the information they need to navigate the very fast evolving and growing digital printing market.
The all-day event will offer a networking opportunity, which will allow participants to compare notes and speak with sponsoring vendors. The cost for an individual to register for the event is $149 and includes lunch and refreshments.
