Masterstroke Packages, a Nigerian converter for local alternatives to imported print products, has recorded several firsts in printing and packaging.
A highly valued Edale customer, having already purchased multiple presses, Masterstroke has upgraded its current suite of presses to an FL5 570mm, 8-color press with hot air drying and UV curing. To ensure it is staying ahead of the competition, Masterstroke Packages has also selected to upgrade to an embossing module alongside a standard rotary die system. The FL5 also comes with motorized print impression and cross register control as standard with the option in the future to upgrade to Edale's Autonomous inking impression and registration (AiiR) and 100% inspection system, ensuring the investment is futureproof.
“We are delighted to be chosen by Masterstroke again," says Edale’s managing director James Boughton. "It is evident that the productivity and flexibility of the innovative FL5 system will significantly boost their capacity and move them forward into new markets. We will continue to work with Masterstroke to assist them with their future equipment needs. Listening to our longstanding customers ensures that we can offer them innovative solutions tailored to their needs."
The FL5 is due to be installed at Masterstroke in 2018. Customers can visit Edale’s dedicated showroom, which can be used for trials and demonstrations.
