Led by G7 expert trainer Javier Robles of INX International Ink Company and conducted in Spanish, the program will enable attendees to take part in intensive, hands-on training sessions featuring live practical demonstrations utilizing G7 in both prepress and press environments, including calibration for proofing and print production, color management, quality, and process control with the G7 methodology.
Participants will gain deep expertise in color theory, the G7 methodology, ISO standards, process control and press/proof alignment to achieve G7 certification in order to meet color consistency, tolerance requirements and process control, and enhanced repeatability of quality for brands and print buyers of those they serve. As G7 experts and G7 professionals, these individuals will be certified and licensed by Idealliance as proven leaders in print production and global standards to align all proof and print applications regardless of process, ink or substrate.
G7 experts and professionals are also taught and certified in cost reductions of production, speeding product to market, massive reduction in waste, extraordinary increase in color consistency–no matter the substrate or print medium, and consistently maintaining their client’s brand image and print production requirements. The global print market is driven by standards and when standards are in place, overall operational efficiency increases at a higher rate and consistency of production improves.
“This training session at Quad/Graphics will serve the global G7 community by offering local training in the local language,” says Jordan Gorski, Idealliance director of Global Certification Programs. “Participants will have an opportunity to work with their peers, the trainer, and the host facility to expand their knowledge on print optimization and management, implementing G7 to support the printing and packaging supply chains.”
