Based in Gauteng, South Africa, Silverline Print has invested in an 8-color Edale FL3 flexographic press with a 350mm web width and UV drying. The press also has an array of rail mounted options, including a turnbar, inter-print lamination, cold foil and a delam/relam module and can be upgraded with additional options at any point in the future. Silverline, an existing Edale customer, offers label solutions to various industries, including pharmaceutical, health and beauty, and the food and beverage market.
The FL3 is a high productivity, cost efficient, quality label and flexible packaging printing press. The press can handle a wide range of substrates, enabling customers to keep on top of growing trends without the continual need to invest in new machinery.
Maryna Welthagen, co-owner, comments, “As an existing Edale customer, we are delighted to once again work alongside Edale and Floors Coetzee, Edale’s South African distributor, who has a clear understanding of our requirements and our need for service and support, meaning that Edale were the best choice for Silverline to maintain our position as a leader in the supply of labels and tags."
“With the need to upgrade equipment to keep up with the trends, the technology within the Edale FL3 meant it was the right choice for our business,” adds Chris Welthagen, co-owner.
Closing the sale alongside Edale’s South African distributor Floors Coetzee of Sabre Equipment, Edale’s managing director, James Boughton, comments, “This order from Silverline marks the continued worldwide growth in sales of Edale equipment, especially within the South African market. We are delighted that Silverline has chosen the Edale FL3, and we are excited to work alongside them and offer support in the future.”
