AVT has hired industry veteran Hans-Peter Stockkamp as global accounts director. In this position, Stockkamp will be the key focal point for managing AVT’s partnerships with key global players in the label and packaging converting markets.
Before joining AVT, Stockkamp spent nine years in sales leadership positions with BST eltromat. Since the company merger in 2014, he served as global sales director, responsible for BST eltromat‘s worldwide product sales, including direct-to-customer sales and initiatives to incorporate solutions with original equipment manufacturers. Prior to that, Stockkamp enjoyed a 13-year tenure with DuPont de Nemours GmbH & Agfa-Gevaert, where he oversaw domestic and international sales supporting high-quality consumables and technical system solutions for analog and digital print applications.
Over 90% of the world's top 20 label and narrow web print houses have chosen AVT as their quality management systems provider, the company says.
“Hans-Peter has a solid reputation for both account management and sales expansion spanning his career in the competitive print technology industry,” says Jaron Lotan, CEO of AVT. “His veteran leadership will enhance existing customer relationships and help AVT extend and expand out footprint in other niches – including flexible packaging.”
Stockkamp is a graduate of the Technical University of Cologne, where he concentrated on photographic engineering.
