Unilux has recruited two engineers to improve existing products and discover new methods of inspection. Eric Zaremski will lead new initiatives for all inspection products, and Rostislav “Russell” Lembersky will integrate advances in machine learning to improve system speed and accuracy.
“Unilux has a long history of providing rugged, dependable inspection solutions that can only be gained by years of experience in the field,” Zaremski says. “It is an honor to join the team that is continuously putting what they’ve learned back into these technologies to further improve efficiency. I’m eager to work with our engineers and customers to see where we can take the technology next.”
Zaremski will lead all Unilux product development. He has a BS in Iinformation system technology, a Masters in software engineering, and a Graduate Certificate in operational business management from Drexel University. Zaremski has spent the last 14 years working with Lockheed Martin in engineering and project development management. He has won numerous awards for technical excellence, including engineering leadership development program manager of the year, and STEM site volunteer of the year.
Lembersky will focus on the integration of machine learning to Unilux systems. He graduated from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute with a BSEE with concentrations in robotics and advance manufacturing and a Minor in Electronic Arts. Lembersky brings significant experience with software and algorithm development, high speed image capture, and defect detection with trains, and neural net classifiers.
"We are thrilled to welcome these two top-notch engineers to the Unilux team," says Mike Simonis, president. "Their rich technological and operational backgrounds will be critical to the development of products that help Unilux customers produce high quality products more consistently and efficiently. Our most recent developments; Smart Assist and LED2000 Series Surface Inspection are the result of collaboration with our customers and we are all excited about where these technologies are heading.”
