FFEI has announced the appointment of Gordon Ferguson as senior program manager for the entire inkjet technology portfolio. The role supports the continued growth of the business, where Ferguson will hold responsibility for the management of complex, client projects from inception to delivery – leveraging his hands-on engineering expertise for delivering high-quality solutions on a budget.
“With our business growing at over 20% in the past 12 months we are responding by adding experienced and capable people. Gordon joins our team of talented project and technical engineers with a special focus on growing our portfolio of inkjet technologies. Having worked in the field of printing and industrial inkjet since 2007, Gordon’s unique experience in both printhead and inkjet technology integration is key to realising our ambitions," says Andy Cook, chief executive officer, FFEI. “I am very pleased to welcome Gordon back to the FFEI team to support the deliver of our the next-generation digital imaging technologies.”
Ferguson joined FFEI in January 2019 and is an accomplished senior program manager with experience working within highly technically, fast moving environments – ranging from industrial inkjet, medical diagnostics, graphic arts and prepress design. Having previously worked in global corporations at senior level, Ferguson has extensive experience in financial project management and business planning with a proven track record on delivery; including (Queen’s) award-winning projects.
“FFEI offers a wide range of interesting, diverse and leading-edge opportunities for the technically minded," says Ferguson. "Award winning designs that are recognized by major industrial players as best-in-class. It’s a very exciting time for FFEI and I look forward to making my own contribution to the on-going success of this business.”
Prior to this appointment, Ferguson was head of program management in Bulk Piezo Products at Xaar Plc within R&D.
