Flexographic Technical Association (FTA) has announced that its October 10-12 Fall Conference, themed “Improving Today…Envisioning Tomorrow” is now open for registration. Eight sessions and more than 20 individual presentations will take place during the two-and-one-half day conference.
The sessions include: Highlights from drupa 2016; Developing Productive, Profitable Talent – A Trainer’s Guide to Success; Establishing the Starting Points: The Where’s, What’s & How’s of Setting Up a Job; Producing Results: Qualify, Quantify & Control the Production Run; Substrates & Beyond; Envisioning Tomorrow’s Pressroom; The Great Anilox Roll Debate (includes a complimentary copy of FTA’s Anilox Handling & Care guide); and Technical Innovation Winners Roundtable. Additionally, attendees will have a number of opportunities to explore a dedicated exhibitor gallery. It will feature 70 companies displaying their latest services and technologies designed to improve today’s print operations.
FTA’s Fall Conference will be staged at The Galt House Hotel, a legendary destination among hotels in downtown Louisville, KY, USA. Eric Frank, KBA-Flexotecnica and Sean Teufler, Siegwerk, will serve as chairs.
Last year’s event bested all previously held records for a Fall Conference, boasting more than 450 attendees and 69 tabletop exhibitors. The 2016 event is on track to elicit the same strong engagement between printers and their print partners. The conference program, coupled with the networking at exhibits, will provide excellent value for all attendees, FTA says.
The exhibit hall will feature the newest technologies designed to improve today’s processes, while ensuring flexographers are prepared for the future. To date, the following companies have reserved space: 3M; Actega North America; Agfa Corp.; All Printing Resources; Amut Dolci Bielloni; Anderson & Vreeland, Inc.; Anilox Roll Cleaning Systems; Apex International; Bobst North America Inc.; BST North America; CGS Publishing Technologies, LLC; Conversource, Inc.; Creative Edge Software; DuPont Packaging Graphics; Eaglewood Technologies; Electro Optic US; Enercon Industries Corp.; Epson America, Inc.; Erhardt + Leimer Inc.; Esko; Flxon; Fujifilm; GMG Americas; Harper Corporation of America; Interflex Laser Engravers; KBA-Flexotecnica; Keene Technology Inc.; Kodak; MacDermid Graphics Solutions; Magnum Inks & Coatings; Mark Andy Inc.; Nilpeter; OEC Graphics, Inc.; Omet; Pamarco; Paper Converting Machine Company; PC Industries; Phoseon Technology; Polymount US LLC; Rossini N.A.
