B. Performance and Characteristics:
INSPECT-R Inspection machine is used for inspection of PVC, PET, OPS, etc. shrink sleeve labels.
1) Main body unit:
Machine’s main body is built from high strength steel.
Main driving roller uses seamless steel pipe (after tempering, surface hardening, chrome plated, mirror surface, dynamic balance treatment)
Main nip roller uses a rubber roll (nitrile-butadiene rubber)
Idler rollers (aluminum alloy after surface treatment)
Driving motor of main body use 1 inverter motor and synchronizing belt.
2) Unwinding unit:
Unwind unit adopts one-piece structure.
It uses a 3-inch cantilever air shaft.
Unwind tension is controlled by a magnetic brake control.
3) Inspecting unit:
Machine is equipped with a strobe lamp and 2 sensors for inspection of the air bubble. The 2 sensors are on either side of the tube. The 2 sensors will not trigger, as the inflated tube blocks the signal. If the sensors trigger, it means the tube lost air and the seam is bad. At this time, the machine will stop, and the operator can press the memory button. The machine will then return back to the defect.
The PLC is used to achieve accurate and stable control and has true color touch screen display to enable simple and beautiful images. Interactive parameter settings eliminate the complicated configurations to start the job: The user only needs to input the material thickness, width, density, diameter and speed parameters, the calculations will be done automatically by the PLC.
The machine has both automatic and manual acceleration and deceleration.
Electrostatic elimination Unit: The machine is equipped with a group of static brushes on both the unwind and rewind shafts, which can effectively eliminate the static between slitting and rewinding.
4) Rewinding unit:
Rewind unit uses a 3-inch cantilever air shaft.
Rewind tension is controlled by an inverter through the PLC to achieve a constant tension.
EPC uses Taiwanese brand PAUSOURCE.
