Wausau Coated Products, a manufacturer of pressure sensitive roll and sheet products, has launched a new product line of high-performance acrylic pressure sensitive adhesive transfer tapes. Wausau Coated's pressure sensitive adhesives have historically been used for labeling and bonding applications, and its transfer tape product line includes two families of products to fit different applications.
The i series transfer tapes are designed for applications where a permanent bond to HSE substrates and enhanced performance characteristics are required. The new T series transfer tapes offer excellent, permanent bonding performance to both HSE and LSE substrates with enhanced shear properties, even at elevated temperatures.
Both series include products that are UL recognized components to Standard UL 969.
The i series and T series transfer tapes are available in various calipers ranging from 1 to 5 mils to accommodate smooth to textured surfaces. These high performing, cost competitive tapes are available in standard 39” master widths with narrower slit widths available.
In addition to these new products, Wausau Coated Products can mix and match adhesive technologies and liner options, and the company offers the ability to quickly turn a concept into a product.
