The Industry’s First Cold Foil Design Lab

Opened in 2022 in Sarasota, FL, using the same model as our headquarters, the DESIGN LAB servers as a service unit and collaboration center for printers, converters, creatives, designers, and machine manufacturers – to provide a better understanding of how to apply and incorporate holographic materials onto labels and packaging while fostering experimentation, inspiration, and innovation to create new holographic visual effects through the same mediums.

The Design Lab offers resources for printers and converters alike. An in-house finishing press with digital cold foil is available for research and development, testing, and educating for both flexo and digital printing (by way of the CFBU retrofitted digital print head, embellX). This demonstration center also holds the capability to host virtual and live demonstrations.
